Materials Needed: 

Yarn: Knit Picks Stroll Sport, 75% Merino 25% Nylon (Polyamide); 137yds/50g: One skein each Jack Rabbit Heather (C1), Wave Heather (C2), Rainforest Heather (C3), Pumpkin (C4).

Yarn: Bumblebirch Blossom, 50% Suri Alpaca 50% Merino; 327yds/100g: One skein each Glacier (C1), Mustard (C2).

Needles: Size 6 (4.0 mm): 24” circular (cir). Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers (m), tapestry needle.

Lining Materials: 1/2 yard of woven fabric; 1/2 yard of mid-weight fusible interfacing; sewing thread to match; matching invisible zipper, 12-14” long; hand sewing needle, fabric scissors, pins.

Gauge: 22 sts and 25 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st on size 6 needles.

Materials Needed:

Yarn: Valley Yarns Northfield, 70% Merino/20% Baby Alpaca/10% Silk; 124 yds/50g: 014, Haze (MC), 2 skeins, and Red (CC), 2 skeins.

Lining: Valley Yarns Huntington, 75% Superwash Merino Wool/25% Nylon; 218 yds/50g: 024, Mustard, 1 skein.

Yarn: Gynx Yarns DK, 100% Organic Merino; 246 yds/100g: Nelrel (MC), 1 skein, and Canary (CC), 1 skein.

Lining: Gynx Yarns Sock/Fingering, 100% Organic Merino; 437 yds/100g: Electric Strawberry, 1 skein.

Needles: Size US 6 (4.0mm): 24”+ circular. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.

Gauge: For cowl: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4” in color work pattern. For lining: 22 sts and 35 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch. But gauge is not too important for this project.

Gauge 8 sts x 12 rows = 4” in Basket weave stitch.
