Guest Post: Cafe Au Lait

Today’s guest post is from designer Kirsten Singer! She is soon to be a part of the Spring/Summer Collection and already has a fun sneak peek for us. You can find her blog at kfklever and on twitter @KFKlever.

This weekend was the first big rain of the season here in SoCal and I was happily knitting away on my Café Au Lait cardigan which will be a perfect add on for any early spring wardrobe. The yarn is Classic Elite Vail in the Sand colorway, and it’s a beautiful blend of Alpaca and Bamboo. The yarn is smooth between my fingers and lends a beautiful sheen to the cable and lace pattern, which is worked over the entire piece.

I can’t wait to wear this over a brightly colored tank or even over a simple tank dress, throw on some gold bangles and a knitted scarf and you’ve got a great outfit. This cardigan will be sure to please, and it’s simple to knit!
