Guest Post: Lady Bat Sweater Sneak Peek

Today’s guest post comes from designer Teresa Gregorio, who we have been hearing from a lot here on the Holla Knits blog! The more we hear from Teresa the more awesomeness is in our lives, so let’s hope we never stop hearing from her. And Spring Collection sneak peeks?! MORE MORE MORE!

Sweet peas, I have to admit that my latest finished sample for Holla Knits makes me smile.

Zig Zag Lace

Zig Zag Lace

It’s a flawless expanse of satisfying zigzag lace. A pleasure to knit, with an easy to memorize lace repeat; even though I just mailed this sample off I can’t wait to get it back so I can wear it again!  I’m stunned that there’s no lace errors in there. Seriously, I can’t wait for you guys to see it! It’s a fairly versatile warm-weather knit too, something I wasn’t sure I’d ever see, let alone design and fall in love with!

The yarn taught me a thing or two as well. I thought I strongly disliked cotton. But lo and behold, after working with Knit Picks Shine Sport (which I think was made for this knit), I’m a convert. Warm weather knitting has been saved for me!

Bring it on! The warm times are a-comin’ and I can’t wait to see the rest of the lovelies in Holla Knits Spring!
