Every lady needs a vest to make her summer wardrobe complete. That one piece that is lightweight, airy, and perfect for throwing over your bathing suit for a day at the beach or a tank top to take the chill off while watching the fireworks. Betty…Betty Grable is a patriotic little number that was inspired by the great pin-up model, Betty Grable! It is worked in one large piece from the bottom up. The Double Trellis Stitch is as simple as can be and after a good blocking, opens up beautifully. A simple scallop trim finishes this piece off!

Notes This piece must be blocked because the Double Trellis Stitch is quite stretchy. Swatching and blocking the swatch with your chosen yarn is a must. Please note, acrylic yarn will not work for this piece. An animal fiber is an absolute must.

Body is worked in one large piece. Ch-3 counts as dc throughout.
