Devon is a hip-length cardigan, knit in one piece on circular needles. The sleeves are knit in the round, keeping sewing to an absolute minimum. Contrasting stripes and a simple lace pattern (only 2 rows per repeat!!), based on the Traditional Old Shale stitch, adds interesting texture. The cardigan has a shawl collar and wide button band edging which adds additional textural interest. A simple short row technique is used to create the shawl collar.
Finished Size 30 (34, 38, 43, 45, 50, 54)” bust circumference, cardigan shown in Knit Picks Brava Worsted in size 43 and in Wooly Wonka Fibers Brigit in size 34.
