Yarn Knit Picks Gloss Fingering, 70% Merino Wool/ 30% Silk; 220yds/50g: Winter Night (MC), 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9, 10) skeins; 1 skein each Bare (CC1), Clover (CC2), and Cranberry (CC3).
Needles Size 2 (2.75 mm): 32″ circular (cir) and double-pointed (dpn; optional); Size 1 (2.25 mm): 24 or 32” circular. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; seven 1/2″ buttons.
Gauge 29 sts and 38 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st on larger needles. Be sure to check gauge for both the plain stockinette and colorwork sections; you may need to go up a needle size for the colorwork.
