A couple weeks ago Teresa Gregorio and I had fun styling her Knight Service on Polyvore, so I thought it would be fun to have other Holla Knits designers style their designs in the same way. Today’s guest post comes from Lily Ubbelohde, and the featured design is her Romp Around the Clock!
Although it’s still snowy in many parts of the country (looking at you midwest) I’m itching for summer to come! I’ve even heard rumors that it’s warm enough to start wearing lighter clothes in some parts of the country (Here’s looking at you California!) All of this has me thinking about that romper I knit last year. Allyson, Myself and Sarah from KnitYork City took a whirl at styling Romp Around the Clock. I think it’s always so fun to look for different ways to wear hand knits so whether you’re heading to the beach, out for brunch, or a night on the town – We’ve got you covered!
Teal is one of my favorite colors (that nail polish- I wear it QUITE a bit), so I played up the teal in my romper while throwing in some fun coral accents and then topped it all off with some great white keds that can go with anything. I like to wear slip on’s to the beach because I hate sand sliding under my feet in flip flops.
Sarah had so much fun that she put together two separate looks! I love the way the texture in the blazer really pulls out the stitch patterns in the romper while that cozy gray wrap looks like a dream to snuggle into. Both paired off with stylish but comfy shoes of course.
